The Labour-Liberal Democrat led Milton Keynes City Council is planning on DOUBLING parking charges in Milton Keynes.
By removing one hour minimum stays on Standard Rate 'purple' parking spaces this would see the minimum price you would pay rise from 50p to £1.
The minimum stay in a Premium Rate 'red' parking space would be increased from 15 minutes, which costs 50p, to one hour which would now cost £2 - a 300% increase.
Conservative councillors argued against this decision concerned about the impact on local residents, but were ignored by the Labour-Lib Dem Council.
It's Labour's very own nightmare before Christmas.
