I want to express my gratitude to everyone who took the time to vote, whether by postal ballot or in person. While the turnout was lower than we had hoped, your participation is still a crucial part of our democratic process, and we deeply appreciate everyone who came out to make their voices heard.
I want to say a huge thank you to our candidates Rishi Sharda and Krishna Panthula for stepping up and putting themselves forward. Elections are hard work, and it's not just the candidates who are impacted but their families as well. Another massive thank you goes to our members who braved the cold and dark weather to knock on doors and help deliver our message to residents in Bradwell and Broughton.
Congratulations to the Liberal Democrats who held the wards of Bradwell and Broughton and to Kerrie Bradburn and Claire Tevlin on their wins.
The results show that we MK Conservatives, have work to do, and we are committed to earning your trust and building stronger connections with our community.
For those who supported us with your vote, a huge heartfelt THANK YOU. And to those who may have chosen not to vote this time, we hear you too. Your voice matters, and we want to understand your concerns and represent you better. If you have any thoughts on how we can do better, on what we can do better for you, please do drop me an email on [email protected] or I am even happy to catch up with you.
We want to strengthen our current team, and build a larger team that reflects the needs and hopes of all our residents and one that works for the community.
We would love for everyone to stay engaged with us and be part of shaping the future of Milton Keynes.
Thank you once again and have a wonderful weekend when it comes,
Shazna Muzammil
Conservative Group Leader,
